Every Drazerk carries a Pearlescent Core, known simply as the Core: a specialized organ that functions as their physical heart and true Essence. This biological heart matures into a nexus that channels The Great Flow, the primordial current of Primal Essence that permeates Hiraya. By harmonizing with this universal pulse, the Core converts raw energy into the fluidity of their Form and the force of their Primal Breath.

The Great Flow is not merely a source of power, it is an environmental tide. Through Harmonic Intake, the Core must constantly filter the raw currents of Hiraya to maintain internal Purity. However, every surge carries the Echo of the Wild. Drawing too deeply from the world requires immense Resonance to keep the internal heartbeat from being overwhelmed by the primordial pulse. Without this balance, the spiritual noise triggers a severe Core Strain, leaving the Drazerk’s elemental nature erratic and volatile until they can realign their internal rhythm through rest.

Metamorphosis

Driven by the Core, Metamorphosis is the innate ability of a Drazerk to project Essence into a wide variety of Forms. While this allows for incredible versatility, it is an active expenditure of energy. When the Core dims due to Core Strain, they lose the Stability required to hold these complex shapes and must return to their Primal Form to stabilize their internal flow.

Metamorphosis is not always a choice. Through reflexive Metamorphosis, intense stress or conflict can pull an instinctive form to the surface, such as sudden speed for flight or dense bulk for defense. However, every change carries the Weight of Form. Drastic changes in scale require immense Mastery for a Drazerk to harmonize with The Great Flow. Without the necessary Stability, the physical tax on their Essence triggers a severe Core Strain, leaving them shattered and exhausted as their manifestation collapses back into a Primal Form to recover.

Form Shifting & Attire

Drazerks are physical beings, which means they do not magically manifest clothes from their Essence. In their Primal Form, they typically do not wear any attire at all. Any clothing worn is strictly external and does not change or grow with them during a Metamorphosis. Because the Form is a real, biological anchor, clothes are subject to the same physical limits as any other object.To prevent clothing from being ruined or becoming too restrictive, it must be removed before a Structural Shift. Because the act of changing is a total physical transformation, altering height, mass, and bone structure, standard garments cannot adapt to the new shape. For those living in cities, many prefer loose layers or specialized elastic gear that can handle the movements of their adaptable nature more fluidly. Fashion is thus a careful balance of personal identity and biological necessity, reflecting their place within the layered cultures of the realm.

Legends speak of an era before the first manifestation, when a precursor civilization sought to harness the Great Flow. In their arrogance, they nearly unraveled the very fabric of the Hiraya Realm. They did not seek balance, but dominion. They pulled the world’s essence toward their towering capitals until the currents of life began to stagnate and wither.As the realm teetered on the edge of a silent extinction, the Nawa'kin, the Great Serpents, intervened. To save the essence of the world from being consumed, the Serpents anchored themselves to the pulse of reality. In a final, catastrophic act of restoration, they channeled the chaotic surge of the harnessed essence through their own forms and grounded it back into the earth. This surge was so powerful it tore through the heavens, shattering the old sky and leaving behind a shimmering ring and the Moon as eternal beacons where the Serpents’ presence once touched the stars.This resulting shockwave, The Great Flow, acted as a cosmic reset, purging the corruption of the old capitals while shielding the souls within. The force was so immense that it pulled fragments of distant dimensions into the Hiraya, gathering a multitude of species into a single, unified sanctuary. As the old world fell, these survivors woke to a realm reborn under a newly fractured sky. Their forms were altered, giving rise to entirely new species that some believe were born of the Hiraya itself, while others were cast from worlds beyond. Maturity

The natural progression of a Drazerk as they move through the cycles of their existence within the Hiraya Realm. These stages track the steady development of a soul from its initial manifestation to its full realization, marking the growth of internal and physical stability as well as personal experience throughout their lifetime.

Ancient tales among the Drazerk Kin speak of a time when the first of their kind did not hatch, but were instead called from the Primal Essence of the world itself. As this foundation crystallizes into a Pearlescent Core, it reshapes the subject's biology and Essence into a Primal Form, turning them into a Drazerk. The Drazerk species is created and owned by thanshuhai. While you hold full ownership of your individual character, the species identity, trademarks, and official lore remain the creator's intellectual property.

🕊️ Freedom

You have full freedom to develop their characters' stories and designs, including NSFW content. Such works represent the owner and artist alone, the species creator is not responsible for the themes, actions, or legality of individual creations.

💰 Commerce

You may create and sell Drazerk adoptables, take commissions, and produce small-scale personal merchandise (stickers, prints, etc.). Mass-marketing, retail distribution, or the use of the species for large-scale commercial projects requires prior written consent

📝 Conduct

Do not claim the species as your own creation. My goal has never been to tie physical appearance to status, as the intent for the species is for you to have any form you like regardless of classification.While these honors are bestowed at my own discretion, Zenith is the primary status featured in Official Adopts or made available as a MYO (Make-Your-Own) slot and given to exceptional community members. My journey as a creator began in 2011. It was a love for dragons that first drew me into the furry community, and my work has been evolving ever since. This passion was rooted in my childhood, influenced by my Vietnamese mother and the diverse depictions of dragons I grew up with. From western and Chinese styles to the elegant Rồng of Vietnam and the Bakunawa of Philippine mythology, these creatures always fascinated me.Along the way, I spent a lot of time exploring different ideas, including a long-standing fascination with werewolves and the concept of Metamorphosis. These themes of fluid and primal form became the foundation of what I truly wanted to draw. To me, transformation is more than a fantasy trait, it is a vessel to express yourself and interact with the world and nature in unique ways. It means not being stuck in one fixed design, but being able to change to match what you want to express in a way that feels natural. After exploring other expressions, species, and identities for years, my journey eventually came full circle.This return to my roots led to 2021, where after over a decade of artistic growth, these influences converged into my most personal project: the Drazerk species. Growing up in a coastal area and now living in the mountains of the Philippines, my deep love for the beach, the ocean, mountains, and nature became a core part of my creative DNA. The Drazerk design is a tribute to these roots, mixing four main inspirations: the mythical power of a dragon, the sleek, fluid form of a shark, the winding grace of a snake, and the sharp, crested look of the Philippine eagle. While the species has been open for some time, 2026 marks the year I am officially publishing them for the public with a full vision and dedicated home. This year has been about revisiting the species to finally lock down their anatomy and internal mechanics, ensuring the vision is fully realized.I often see myself more as a technical person. This mindset naturally flows into my work, as I love diving into the inner workings of a species and the worlds they inhabit. Before creating my own, I spent years delving into the communities of other species. I loved being a part of them and supporting other creators, which gave me so many wonderful inspirations. These experiences shaped how I approached the Drazerk. I want this species and universe to exist and live alongside the many other incredible worlds that are truly inspiring.As species creator, I simply provided the first catalyst. My role is to give the species a biological foundation and a place to start, while the community is what really makes them come to life with their own characters. My goal is to create a species that offers a canvas where identity is not restricted by a single form, but empowered by the ability to evolve. I want to create art that feels alive and naturally inspired. I am incredibly grateful to the community, the Drazerk Kin, and the wonderful people whose support and creativity continue to inspire me to evolve and grow this species.Ultimately, my journey has taught me that a project like this is a living ecosystem that evolves alongside its creator and its community.
